Mining Communication Cable Identification and Length Marking Analysis

Solid insulated filled cable is suitable for pipe laying in coal mine pipe network and is mainly used for pipe laying. The inner and outer surfaces of the cable core and the shielding layer are filled or poured with petroleum jelly to prevent the intrusion of moisture in the coal mine. Under the common 30~C 60~C environmental conditions in coal mines , the mechanical and electrical properties of coal mining communication cables remain unchanged. It is used for the communication lines of roadways, inclined lanes and electromechanical chambers, as well as for roadways, shafts or inclined shafts for the transmission of main signals.

Mining communication cable structure

1. Wire: Annealed bare copper wire with a copper wire diameter of 0.30, 0.42, 0.52, 0.60, 0.70, 80.90 (mm).

2. Insulating material: High-density polyethylene or polypropylene, marking the color of the insulated wire according to the full-chromatography standard.

3. Insulated pairs: Two different colored insulated wires are twisted into pairs at different pitches and the specified chromatographic combination is used to identify the pairs.

4. Communication cable core structure: One pair is used as the basic unit, and more than 25 pairs of cables are grouped by unit. Each unit is wrapped around the specified unit of the chromatography to identify different units. 100% or more pairs of cables have a 1% reserve line pair but no more than 6 pairs. The gap in the core is filled with petroleum jelly.

5, core wrap: with polyester film wrap.

6. Shielding: Copper wire shield or embossed (or not embossed) metal strips, which are wrapped outside the cable glands of the communications cable.

7, sheath: blue low density polyethylene. Double jacketed communication cables are also available.

Mine communications cable identification and length marking

The outer surface of the cable has a permanent identification mark, marking interval is not more than 1m, the content of the mark: wire diameter, the number of pairs, cable model, manufacturer's name and manufacturing code, the length of the mark is not greater than 1m marked on the outer surface, But staggered with the above mark. The mining communication cable adopts full-chromatization insulation, and the aluminum-plastic integrated sheath (that is, the longitudinal shielding aluminum tape of the cable is bonded with the sheath to form a seal sheath) has the advantages of superior electrical performance and convenient construction.
