Keysight UXM multi-standard test function now supports GSM and TD-SCDMA

December 30, 2015, Beijing – Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced the addition of new GSM, GPRS, EGPRS and TD-SCDMA, HSPA test functions to its E7515A UXM wireless tester. With these enhancements, user device developers can use a single UXM tester to validate their multi-format LTE terminals.

The new GSM and TD-SCDMA test application software allows users to quickly switch between W-CDMA, GSM and TD-SCDMA systems using a single UXM, which can be implemented in a transceiver unit. The new test application also includes powerful GSM and TD-SCDMA X-Series measurement applications that provide comprehensive RF testing for consistent, repeatable measurements. The X-Series measurement applications allow engineers to quickly configure test parameters according to 3GPP standards, or use the full capabilities of the X-Series to deliver superior test capabilities above standard.
